Project Description
The objective of the Aboadze substation project is to receive and transmit electricity (330KW) from a number of power stations to Ghana’s Northern regions, through Kumasi and further up to Bolgatanga.
At present, this sub-station has two active docks, with potential capacity of eight docks.

The project construction time was 24 months and consisted of two main parts:
- Civil works (earthworks, concrete, construction), building the entire infrastructure of the station
- Electromechanical work of all electrical equipment
