Coastal erosion is a problem along the coastal areas of Ghana and a number of other locations were earmarked for protection, including Adwoa, Sakumono and Ngyiresia. Some of these have now been completed, while others are in hand. Immediate attention was also required along the beach road in the Tema municipality and Amandi was awarded the contract to protect 1.4km of coast.
