Project Description
In 2015, Ghana’s Cocoa Board has employed Defaz Engineering for the design & construction of Cocoa Village, located in Tema. The village contains 192 units apartments blocks with a total build area of 20,000m2, designed to accommodate 800 Board personnel.
The Cocoa Village include: Residential Housing, Support and Service Structures, Recreational areas as follows:
- 12 buildings 4 story high with a total of 192 housing units.
- Security posts
- Support Utilities Structures : Electricity substations, pump house and water treatment, sewerage and waste disposal area.
- Sports Facilities : Community sport center and tennis, basketball & football pitches.
- Kindergarten
- Natural green area and a playground for children.
