Project Description
The Ghana Railway Development Authority has recently contracted Amandi to continue the development of the Western Railway Line. The scope of the Project includes a 78km Standard Gauge rail tracks, construction of 8 railway stations, supply of rolling stock, a modern signaling system, maintenance equipment and more. Amandi is constructing a strategic railway line between Huni Valley and the Takoradi Port. Upon its completion, the line will serve as a major route for the transportation of minerals and other bulk commodities such as cocoa, bauxite, manganese, cement, flour and petroleum products.
Whilst constructing the project, Amandi maintains the highest quality of Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) by meeting international and local benchmarks and standards.
Amandi’s capabilities in sourcing the funding for the Project enabled an attractive and efficient financing by international lenders and supported by Export Credit Agencies from Europe and Africa.
